Initial Setup

FACTORYPOS executes a Setup Wizard the first time you run the application. It will guide you step by step to setup the application depending your needs, allowing the choice of the language, the country or region where you are located, the kind of business that fits better with your own, devices and peripherals you may use, etc. All the process is performed in a simple and intuitive way.

Languages: Choose the language that you will use in the application.


Network Settings: If you select to work in a network the Wizard will be stopped as it will take the data from the SERVER.


Regions: The region selection will automatically create default taxes, currencies and tender media.


Models: Some parameters will be set as default. Depending on the model, the Wizard will ask you for Packs, Modifiers, Preparation Areas, Tables...


Peripherals: You can define here the peripherals and connected devices to your application.


Company Data: Enter here your business data that will be printed on receipts. Also define the receipt layout.


Users: Enter here the users that will make the sales.


Price Levels: You can create the price levels needed for sales or for purchases.


Packs: Usted deberá entrar aquí, los tipos de packs y sus valores, que va a utilizar.


Items: Here you manage the items you will sell on your business.


Gestión de Zonas y Mesas: Usted deberá entrar aquí, las zonas de ventas y mesas de cada zona de su negocio.


**Discounts:* You can create some discounts on sales percentage or a fixed amount.


Additional Parameters: Set here the working parameters for this terminal.


After all these steps you can start working with your device.
